Marina Nosova, the talented designer behind Creative Sound Records, drew inspiration from the Soundhouse in the UK to create a truly unique office space. Her goal was to design functional zones that would break away from the traditional office environment and instead create a show-room studio atmosphere.
One of the standout features of the office is the Reception area, where clients can choose from a range of services offered by the studio. Three displays on the wall allow clients to easily select their desired options, while also providing the opportunity to listen to the latest musical tracks produced by the studio.
Unlike conventional office layouts, Nosova opted for an open space concept, seamlessly connecting the Reception area to the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame serves as a gallery of albums, elegantly displayed on the walls, creating a visually stunning corridor that captivates visitors.
Nosova's design also includes a unique curved seat sofa with built-in lamps, cleverly hidden in the bend of a curved wall. This feature not only adds a touch of elegance to the space but also serves as a functional seating area that complements the overall design aesthetic.
Another interesting addition to the office is a mini-lounge zone, complete with a highlighting platform and a built-in monitor. This area allows visitors to observe the sound recording process in real-time, with the image being transmitted through the control room near the studio for listening.
Recognizing the potential of the space near an emergency exit, Nosova decided to transform it into a dedicated area for photoshoots. This innovative addition not only enhances the functionality of the office but also generates additional revenue for the company.
Throughout the interior space, Nosova paid meticulous attention to the forms and shapes used. The result is a project that seamlessly blends contemporary furniture and art objects without overwhelming the overall design aesthetic.
The Lounge area received special attention from Nosova, who aimed to create a comfortable and private space for relaxation. In addition to serving as a cafeteria, the Lounge area also offers panoramic views of the city through its windows. Special glass by Lasvit design adds a touch of elegance to the space, which can be further highlighted at night with different colors.
To ensure maximum comfort, Nosova incorporated comfortable egg-chairs for employees and incoming guests, as well as bubble chairs in the corner near a coffee table for those seeking relaxation. The bar counter, which seamlessly connects to the Relax zone, features a pop-art poster of a piano, adding a touch of artistic flair to the space.
For a visually striking effect, Nosova created volume letters with the name of the sound record studio, which not only serve as functional elements but also provide seating. The Artemida firm lamp, with its unusual form, perfectly complements the lines of the Nebessa tables and highlights the bends of the chairs, all of which were created according to Nosova's sketches.
By designing an interior that is representative of the company's dedication to music, Nosova has created a space that will be remembered and associated with Creative Sound Records. The unique layout and attention to detail make this office a standout in the industry.
It comes as no surprise that Creative Sound Records' office design was awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2014. This award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The office's integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics contribute to a better world, making it a deserving winner.
